Cookie Policy
The small number of cookies and similar technologies this site uses, and how to control them.
Last updated · August 1, 2026
1. What we use
We keep this deliberately minimal. We do not run advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site trackers.
- Strictly necessary — authentication and session cookies that keep you signed in, and security tokens that prevent request forgery. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Preferences — your chosen language (English or Japanese) and interface settings, stored in your browser's local storage.
- Payment — Paddle sets cookies during checkout to process your order securely and prevent fraud.
2. How long they last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Sign-in cookies last up to 30 days unless you sign out. Language preferences persist until you clear your browser storage.
3. Your choices
Because we only set strictly necessary and preference cookies, no consent banner is required under Japan's Telecommunications Business Act or U.S. state law. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in. We honour Global Privacy Control signals.
4. Changes
If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first, before those cookies are set.
